Durable financial power of attorney
Choose an agent for the financial matters you authorize. Durable authority can continue during incapacity, according to your document and applicable law.
Healthcare power of attorney
Name the person you want to make healthcare decisions when you cannot make them yourself. Your state may use the term medical power of attorney or healthcare proxy.
Advance healthcare directive
Put your medical-treatment and end-of-life wishes in writing. Healthcare agent appointments and living-will instructions may be combined or provided separately, depending on your state.
Included in all three planning packages
Will Essentials ($995), Complete Living Trust ($1,995) and Legacy Plus ($2,395) include preparation of durable financial power of attorney and advance healthcare directive documents, with healthcare agent appointment as applicable.
If you are purchasing one of these full planning packages, you do not need to purchase the same documents separately.
For two adults, with separate documents for each person. Includes durable financial power of attorney and advance healthcare directive preparation for both.
Includes guided onboarding, preparation support and signing instructions. Attorney advice, notary services and other independent professional fees are separate.

Before activation and preparation
You may cancel for a full refund before your Wealth.com portal access is activated and before preparation work starts.
After activation or requested preparation starts
Once usable Wealth.com portal access is activated or preparation work begins at your request, we do not provide refunds simply because you change your mind, stop participating or do not finish the process.
Billing errors or undelivered services
We will correct duplicate charges and billing mistakes. If we fail to provide purchased services, we will refund the undelivered services. Portal activation does not remove our obligation to provide the support included in your purchase.
Refunds required by law
We will honor any refund or cancellation right required by applicable law. This policy does not limit those rights.
Request a cancellation or report a billing issue
Email [email protected] with your name, purchase email, service purchased, purchase date and a brief explanation. Do not include passwords, Social Security numbers or estate-planning documents.
For a service that does not include new portal access, the preparation-work rules apply. These terms govern services purchased from 48HourTrust.
A complete planning conversation covers more than who inherits. It also considers who can help during incapacity, who cares for dependents, and where your family can find essential information.
Last will and testament
Records how you want property covered by your will distributed and names the person you want to administer your estate. Parents can also nominate a guardian for minor children. A will serves a different role from a living trust.
Revocable living trust
Sets out instructions for managing and distributing assets placed in the trust. You name a trustee and a successor to carry out those instructions. A trust-centered plan also needs attention to asset ownership and beneficiary designations.
Durable financial power of attorney
Name an agent to manage the financial matters you authorize, such as bills, accounts or property. A durable power of attorney can remain effective if you become incapacitated. Your choices, document terms and state law determine the authority and when it begins.
Advance healthcare directive & healthcare power of attorney
Record medical-treatment preferences and appoint someone to make healthcare decisions if you cannot speak for yourself. Depending on your state, this may involve a healthcare or medical power of attorney, healthcare proxy and living will. Wealth.com prepares the applicable documents through its state-specific workflow.
Beneficiaries and digital assets
Organizes the people and organizations you want to benefit, alongside information about important accounts and digital property. Account beneficiary instructions and your estate documents should be considered together.
Signing, storage and funding
Preparation is followed by the required signing steps. Keep completed documents organized and tell the appropriate people how to find them. A trust also requires separate attention to which assets are held in it.

Your questions, answered
Estate-planning FAQs
Do I need to be wealthy or retired to start?
No. Parents, homeowners, working adults and people approaching retirement all have reasons to document their wishes. Planning can start with the people you trust, the responsibilities you carry and the information your family would need.
What is the difference between a will and a living trust?
A will gives instructions for property covered by the will and can nominate guardians. A living trust provides instructions for assets held in the trust and names trustees to manage them. These documents serve different roles and can be used together. A licensed attorney can advise which structure fits your circumstances.
What does 48HourTrust do, and what does Wealth.com do?
48HourTrust is your point of contact for onboarding, education, document organization and preparation support. Wealth.com provides the estate-planning technology used for guided questions, document generation and digital organization. They are separate businesses. Neither 48HourTrust nor Wealth.com is a law firm.
Will someone help me through the online process?
Yes. Our plans include the preparation and administrative support described in the package. We help you understand the steps, organize information and keep track of what comes next. Questions requiring an individual legal opinion go to a licensed attorney.
What happens after I purchase?
We coordinate your onboarding and provide instructions for your Wealth.com planning access. You gather your information, complete the relevant guided questions and review your choices. You then follow the signing instructions and, where applicable, work through the trust-funding steps. Contact us if you need help locating your onboarding instructions.
How long does the process take?
You can work through the online questions at your own pace. We confirm the expected timeline during onboarding. Your information, decisions, document review, signing appointments and asset-transfer requirements affect completion. A prepared draft, a signed document and a funded trust are separate milestones.
Is attorney review included in the package price?
Attorney consultation, individualized legal advice and custom legal drafting are separate services. You may use your own attorney or ask about available independent professional support. We explain any separate scope and fees before you decide to proceed.
Does purchasing a trust plan move my home or accounts into the trust?
No. Creating trust documents does not itself complete asset transfers. Property deeds, account ownership changes and beneficiary updates involve additional decisions and requirements. Trust-funding guidance helps organize those next steps; attorneys and financial institutions handle or confirm the applicable legal and account changes.
What if I already have estate-planning documents?
Bring an inventory of what you have and when it was prepared. Our Existing Estate-Plan Review helps organize documents, identify information that needs attention and prepare questions for your attorney. We do not automatically replace an existing plan or provide a legal opinion about its validity.
Can I update my plan when life changes?
Marriage, divorce, children, a move, new property and changes in your wishes are reasons to revisit a plan. Wealth.com supports a digital planning workflow. The access, updates and additional assistance available to you depend on your selected service and the applicable platform terms; ask us about scope before making changes.
Where should I enter sensitive planning information?
Use the planning account and instructions provided during onboarding. Use this website, email and the introductory call for basic contact and scheduling information. Do not send Social Security numbers, passwords, full account numbers or completed legal documents through a public contact form.
What if my family or estate is more complicated?
Blended families, special-needs planning, business interests, substantial tax questions and property in multiple states can require individualized advice. Tell us about the general situation on the introductory call so we can help coordinate the appropriate next step with qualified professionals.
Are there costs beyond the listed service fee?
The six listed prices are one-time 48HourTrust service fees for their stated scope. Attorney, notary, deed-provider and government recording fees are separate. Additional support or services outside your package may also have a separate fee, explained before you proceed.
Can I prepare a power of attorney or healthcare directive?
Yes. Through Wealth.com, 48HourTrust supports preparation of durable financial powers of attorney and advance healthcare directives, including appointment of a healthcare agent in the applicable state-specific documents. Preparation is included in Will Essentials, Complete Living Trust and Legacy Plus. Standalone options are $295 for durable financial power of attorney, $195 for healthcare documents, $395 for both for one adult, or $695 for the couple bundle. All are one-time USD service fees. See the powers of attorney and healthcare section above for scope and checkout links, or book a free fit call with questions.
